What is TV as a Service?

"TV as a Service" is a business model in which television content is provided as a service rather than a product. It's similar to other "as a Service" models, such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

In a traditional model, television content would be distributed through cable or satellite providers and consumers would purchase a package of channels or content. With TV as a Service, content is typically delivered over the internet (referred to as over-the-top or OTT delivery), and consumers subscribe to the service on a monthly or annual basis.

This service-based model offers several benefits.
