Privacy Policy

StreamWatch does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, and never transmits anything about the streams you monitor. There is no tracking and there are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
The App does send anonymous usage counts to us — which screens were opened, in what order — so we can find where the App gets in your way. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy at any time.
Overview
StreamWatch ("the App") is a professional HLS stream monitoring application published by iReplay.tv ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed to operate entirely on your device, with optional iCloud sync for your own convenience.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, process, or have access to any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or any hardware device identifier
- Location data
- Stream URLs, names, channel IDs, tags, logos, EPG addresses or authentication credentials — your channel line-up never leaves your device
- The video or audio content of any stream
- Your admin passcode
- Crash reports (unless you opt in via Apple's standard crash reporting)
Anonymous Usage Data
To find out where the App is confusing or broken, it sends us a small number of anonymous events: that onboarding was started or finished, that the add-stream screen was opened or saved, that monitoring was started, that the admin unlock screen was opened, and the steps of the subscription screen.
Each event carries only:
- A random installation identifier, created by the App. It is not tied to you, to any account, or to any Apple identifier, and it is reset if you reinstall the App. We have no accounts, so there is nothing for it to be linked to.
- Which platform, App version and OS version you are running
- Your country and language, resolved from the connection — never your IP address, which is not stored
- Small fixed values such as how many streams were opened at once, or whether a purchase succeeded or failed
It never carries a stream URL, stream name, channel ID, tag or EPG address.
This data goes only to our own server at ireplay.tv. It is not shared, not sold, not joined with data from any other company, and not used for advertising. It is deleted after 180 days.
To turn it off: Settings › Privacy › Share Anonymous Usage Data. Switching it off also deletes anything the App has queued but not yet sent.
Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is created and stored locally on your device:
- Stream configuration: HLS stream URLs, names, channel IDs, tags, EPG URLs, and authentication settings (custom headers, cookies, token refresh endpoints)
- Presets: Named grid layout configurations with stream assignments
- Event history: Stream health status transitions with timestamps, stored locally and never transmitted to us
- App settings: Preferences such as event counter window, retention period, and user role
- Admin passcode: Stored in the device Keychain, never synced or transmitted
This data is under your full control. You can export it (JSON/CSV) or delete it at any time.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled, the App may sync the following data across your devices via Apple's CloudKit:
- Stream library (names, URLs, tags, authentication configuration)
- Presets (layout and stream assignments)
- App settings and tags
Event history and the admin passcode are never synced and remain local to each device.
iCloud sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Network Connections
The App makes network connections only for purposes you explicitly configure:
- HLS stream playback: Connects to stream URLs you provide to play and monitor .m3u8 manifests
- XMLTV EPG data: Fetches electronic program guide data from URLs you configure (optional)
- Token refresh: Contacts refresh endpoints you configure to renew authentication tokens (optional)
- Webhook notifications: Sends HTTP POST requests to endpoints you configure when stream status changes (optional)
- iCloud/CloudKit: Syncs configuration data via Apple's infrastructure (optional)
- App Store: Verifies subscription status via Apple's StoreKit framework
- Anonymous usage data: Sent to ireplay.tv, unless you switch it off in Settings › Privacy (see above)
- Live chat: If you choose to open “Chat with us” in Settings, the App opens our support page in your browser, which loads the Crisp chat widget
Apart from the two above, the App contacts no server operated by us. All other network connections are to destinations you configure or to Apple's services.
Subscriptions
StreamWatch offers auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) managed entirely through the App Store. Payment processing and subscription management are handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.
For subscription management, visit Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking framework. The usage data described above is first-party: our own code sending to our own server.
The third-party services involved are Apple's own infrastructure (App Store, CloudKit, StoreKit) and, only if you open “Chat with us”, Crisp, which runs the support chat on our website.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
