Guided the company’s transition from relying solely on external solutions for operations, under the strategic oversight of Martin Rogard (formerly of Dailymotion). Led training initiatives to equip employees with the skills to manage and optimize multiple providers, enhancing video quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Drove significant cost savings, achieving a five-figure monthly reduction in offline transcoding expenses by recommending a new provider in line with broader cost-efficiency strategies. Improved the company’s HTTP Streaming Score from 1/20 to 6/20 by aligning more closely with Apple HLS standards, significantly enhancing interoperability (achieving 20/20 compliance with iReplay.tv standards). Provided development support as needed in Golang (backend) and frontend, focusing on optimizing AWS performance for the back office.
